Information provided on this website is intended to explain our mission, programs, opportunities, events, partnerships, and ways to become involved.

2. Website Use

You may use this website for lawful, personal, educational, charitable, or community-related purposes.

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems.
  • Introduce viruses, malicious software, or other harmful technology.
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the website.
  • Copy, reproduce, or commercially exploit website content without permission, except as permitted by law.
  • Submit false, misleading, abusive, or intentionally harmful information through our forms.

We reserve the right to restrict or discontinue access to the website when reasonably necessary to protect Albert & Wick’s, our participants, our partners, or others.

3. Program and Service Information

Albert & Wick’s may provide information about educational programs, workshops, mentoring, demonstrations, community projects, home-maintenance initiatives, and other activities.

Descriptions on the website are provided for general informational purposes. Programs, eligibility requirements, schedules, locations, availability, instructors, senior advisors, learners, services, and activities may change.

Submitting an application, inquiry, request, or registration does not guarantee acceptance into a program or guarantee that Albert & Wick’s will be able to provide assistance.

4. Home Maintenance and Project Assistance

Albert & Wick’s Traveling Makerspace is designed to provide education, mentorship, practical experience, community support, and opportunities to develop useful skills.

Unless specifically stated in writing, information provided by Albert & Wick’s should not be considered professional construction, engineering, architectural, electrical, plumbing, legal, financial, or other licensed professional advice.

Participation in a program or submission of a request does not create a contractor-client relationship.

Some projects may require licensed professionals, permits, inspections, property-owner approval, insurance, or other legal or safety requirements. Albert & Wick’s may decline, postpone, modify, or refer a project when the organization determines that the work is outside the program’s mission, available resources, expertise, or appropriate safety standards.

Property owners and participants remain responsible for determining whether professional services, permits, inspections, or other approvals are required for their particular circumstances.

5. Workshops, Events, and Participation

Participation in certain activities may involve tools, equipment, materials, vehicles, physical activity, construction-related environments, or other inherent risks.

Albert & Wick’s may require participants to complete additional registrations, safety training, permission forms, waivers, releases, background checks, or other documentation before participating in certain programs or activities.

Participants are expected to follow all safety instructions and reasonable directions provided by Albert & Wick’s staff, instructors, mentors, project leaders, or authorized representatives.

Albert & Wick’s may restrict participation when reasonably necessary for safety, program integrity, or the protection of participants and property.

6. Minors

Certain Albert & Wick’s programs may be available to minors.

When required, participation by a minor must be authorized by a parent or legal guardian. Additional consent forms, releases, supervision requirements, or participation rules may apply.

Parents and guardians are responsible for reviewing applicable program requirements before allowing a minor to participate.

7. Applications, Forms, and Information You Submit

Our website may allow you to submit information through contact forms, program applications, newsletters, project inquiries, partnership requests, or similar forms.

You agree that information you submit will be accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Submission of information does not create a contractual relationship or require Albert & Wick’s to accept a participant, project, donation, partnership, sponsorship, or other request.

Personal information submitted through the website will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Donations, Sponsorships, and Contributions

Albert & Wick’s may accept donations, sponsorships, grants, materials, equipment, services, or other contributions.

Any applicable tax treatment of a contribution depends upon the circumstances of the contribution and applicable law. Donors should retain any acknowledgment provided by Albert & Wick’s and consult their own tax professional when necessary.

Unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing, Albert & Wick’s retains discretion regarding the use of unrestricted contributions in furtherance of its charitable mission.

Restricted gifts or sponsorship arrangements must be accepted by Albert & Wick’s before any restriction or obligation becomes binding.

9. Community Participants and Supporters

Albert & Wick’s may occasionally invite individuals, community members, mentors, partners, or supporters to assist with programs, events, demonstrations, outreach, or special projects.

Expressing interest in helping does not guarantee participation. Opportunities may depend on project needs, scheduling, location, age, experience, safety requirements, available supervision, or other considerations.

Individuals participating in certain activities may be required to agree to additional safety rules, releases, codes of conduct, or other program-specific requirements.

10. Photos, Video, and Media

Albert & Wick’s may photograph or record public events, workshops, community activities, and projects.

When individual permission is legally required or when a program involves circumstances warranting specific consent, Albert & Wick’s may request an additional photo or media release.

If you have concerns about appearing in photographs or recordings at an Albert & Wick’s activity, please notify an event organizer or representative.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, the Albert & Wick’s name, logos, graphics, website design, written materials, educational content, photographs, videos, and other original materials appearing on this website belong to Albert & Wick’s or are used with permission.

Commercial use, reproduction, resale, or redistribution of our original materials may require prior written permission.

Third-party names, logos, photographs, trademarks, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Additional waivers, releases, or participation agreements may apply to in-person programs, projects, workshops, or events.
